Sorry - I had a complete brain melt-down for all matters other than the essay outline I was trying to do and couldn't make it re-gel enough to respond to this or anyone else's comments.

Makes you shudder, doesn't it? But I think amoral might be just about it - and I don't think amoral is enough to merit authorial approval.
