If it were the dark side of LM Montgmery ( say sex! scandal! vampires.... or maybe not) I would be fine with it, problem is that it is the prejudiced, soppy, eye-rolling-plot side of LM Montgomery. But you are not escaping it, book is aside all ready to go to you on wednesday.
